These terms apply to all purchases made through the Hey Presto Strings website. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1. About Hey Presto Strings
Hey Presto Strings is an independent music publishing business run by Georgia Vale and based in Hope, Minsterley, Shropshire SY5 0JB, United Kingdom.
2. Products
Products may be supplied in physical or digital form.
- Physical products are printed books shipped by post.
- Digital products include PDFs, audio files and other downloadable materials.
- Studio Licences are annual subscriptions permitting use of digital materials with multiple pupils in accordance with the licence terms.
Product descriptions aim to be accurate, but minor variations in appearance or formatting may occur.
3. Prices & Payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£). Payment is required at the time of ordering unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance (for example, invoice orders for schools or retailers).
Prices may change without notice, but confirmed orders will not be affected.
4. Delivery
Printed books are normally dispatched within 1-2 working days.
Delivery times vary depending on destination and postal services. Hey Presto Strings is not responsible for delays once items have been dispatched.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties or import charges that may apply.
5. Returns & Refunds — Physical Products
If you change your mind or order the wrong item, you may return unused books in saleable condition within 14 days of receipt.
You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
We recommend using a tracked or proof-of-posting service, as we cannot refund items that are lost or damaged in transit.
Refunds will be issued for the cost of the items only once the returned goods have been received and inspected.
6. Digital Products
Digital downloads are supplied immediately after purchase and cannot normally be refunded once accessed.
If you experience technical difficulties or receive an incorrect file, please contact us and we will resolve the issue promptly.
7. Studio Licences
Studio Licences are annual subscriptions allowing digital materials to be used with multiple pupils within a single teaching studio, school or music service, according to the selected licence tier.
Licences are renewable annually. From the second year onwards, renewals are priced lower as indicated on the product page.
Licence terms regarding permitted use and distribution apply in addition to these Terms & Conditions.
8. Copyright & Permitted Use
All materials remain the intellectual property of Hey Presto Strings.
Except where permitted by a Studio Licence:
- Materials are for individual use only
- Files must not be shared, distributed or uploaded publicly
- Additional copies require additional purchases
9. Bulk Orders & Trade Sales
Discounts and invoice purchasing may be available for schools, music services, retailers and large orders. Please contact us for details.
10. Liability
Hey Presto Strings will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the products.
Nothing in these terms limits rights under UK consumer law.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales..
