This annual studio licence provides teachers with a practical and economical way to use the complete Hey Presto Music Theory for Violin series with multiple pupils.

The Theory Set contains all six workbooks in the Music Theory for Violin series, providing a carefully structured and fully integrated pathway from the earliest stages through to Grade 1 theory level and beyond.

Designed specifically for violinists, the series links theory work closely with practical playing so that theoretical understanding develops alongside lesson repertoire. Concepts are introduced gradually, revisited regularly and extended in a logical sequence, building secure knowledge and increasing fluency over time.

Across the six books, students progress from the fundamentals of notation and rhythm to more advanced areas including bass clef, simple and compound time, correct beaming and the grouping of rests. Each stage reinforces earlier learning, supporting accuracy, independence and confident application of knowledge.
